The Tsunami wiped out Kudawela School

Temporary classrooms were used for over two years

The new school opened in January 2007

It was built further in land near a beautiful lake

The bare essentials were in place

Funds raised helped to buy equipment desperately needed

The teachers chose equipment to help them teach

Just a few of the items purchased

The teachers explained to the children where the gifts had come from

The classrooms are busy but the shelves are bare

Each child recieved their own stationary set

The children were really excited to see what they had got

Lots of smiles and happy faces
