Sam’s Colourful Kebabs for 2 people

This recipe is my Monday after school favourite because it is quick, easy and tastes scrumptious.

2 chicken breasts

2 carrots

1 courgette

1 onion

2 tomatoes

1 red pepper

A sprinkle of season-All

Olive oil

Equipment: 6 skewers, baking tray, chopping board, a sharp knife and a peeler.

Method:

      1) Wash your hands.

      2) Dice chicken breasts then wash hands again.

      3) Peel and chop carrots.

      4) Wash and chop courgette.

      5) Peel off the skin of the onion and cut it into eighths.

6) Wash and cut the tomatoes into quarters.

7) Wash and chop pepper into chunks, throw away any seeds.

8) Slide your food onto the skewers so that there is a mixture on each one and there is a two cm gap either end of the skewers.

9) Place skewers onto the baking tray then wash your hands.  Always wash your hands after touching raw meat.

10) Sprinkle season-All onto the kebabs.

11) Pour olive oil all over your kebabs.

         12)   Cook in the oven at 220c for about 10 minutes then take out of the oven and carefully rotate the skewers then return to the oven for another 15 minutes.

       13)   Remove from the oven very carefully, the kebabs should be sizzling.

       14)   Arrange on two plates.

Delicious served with new potatoes.
